My Food Diary

I’m a university student in Boston, and baking has become one of my favorite ways to slow down and reset during the school year. I grew up with a sister who loves to bake, and watching her treat food as both a creative outlet and a steady ritual inspired me to do the same. I love baking because it feels intentional and comforting—measuring, mixing, and taking the time to make something from scratch always feels grounding in the best way.

Food has also become a way I stay connected to the people around me. Some of my favorite memories come from testing new recipes with close friends or planning trips around restaurants and bakeries up and down the East Coast. As I look ahead to medical school, I plan to keep food as a constant in my life—a ritual that brings creativity, balance, and community into even the busiest seasons.
